There’s no review blog post today but it’s a special post because it marks my 2nd Blogiversary. Two years ago I started this blog, a platform where I’m able to share all things beauty related with you guys and I haven’t looked back.

Firstly, I want to thank each and every one of you for following, liking and commenting on my blog posts, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Thank you for the tags, retweets, likes and being so supportive.

Blogging thus far has been fun but also has its ups and downs. A lot of work goes into it that not many see but I’m sure you guys can imagine. For those who have been doing this for years, guys, I take my hat off to you. There have been countless self-doubts, inconsistencies and days where I compared myself to other bloggers. I’m sure there are bloggers who have at some point in their journey done exactly this. We’re human and this, unfortunately, happens to the best of us. What counts is how you deal with it, what you learn from it and how this motivates you to improve yourself.

I’ve set certain goals for my blog and I’m working towards it one baby step at a time. Goals are important as it helps me stay focused. I’m definitely more organised than I was last year. I’ve decided to publish two posts per week (every Monday and Thursday) and have a dedicated series for every month (be it a specific brand or product type from different brands). It’s pretty exciting, even if I must say so myself.
