Colourpop 9 Pan Palette Collection + {Giveaway}
I’m sure many of you know that my love for Colourpop is next level. I’ve needed to slow down on makeup purchases in general, so I don’t own any of the most recent releases. Besides, some of their collections are looking very similar to ones released in the past. Colourpop is a brand that doesn’t sleep and there’s truthfully no reason why the average makeup enthusiast would want to keep up with all the releases.
I’ve shared some of the 9 pan palettes that I have in my collection in this post over HERE. I’ve added a few more since and pretty content with the ones I currently own. I do have my eye on one or two but I don’t feel like I need them at this stage.
The formula and performance of these shadows are on par with ColourPop’s eyeshadows. So this isn’t an in-depth review but rather just a collection update.
Going Coconuts
Go loco for this toasted neutral 9 pan palette, perfect for your everyday look. This super-wearable palette is cute, compact, and ready for any look.
This might seem like a very basic palette but it’s the perfect mix of neutrals for everyday looks. There are a few cool tones but these tones work perfectly against my skin tone. It contains 4 mattes, 3 shimmers, and 2 mattes with glitter dispersed through it
Mint to be
We’re feeling so fresh in this pastel mint palette! With 9 minty shades in blendable mattes and bold metallics, this palette will take you from a soft wash of colour to a vibrant dramatic look effortlessly.
I purchased this palette at the beginning of summer and it was the perfect mint palette to add to my collection. It has a gorgeous mix of aqua and green shades and includes 5 matte shades and 4 with a shimmer/metallic finish.
Smoke Show/blowin’ smoke
This grayscale palette is a glam smokey eye lover’s dream. With 3 glitzy metallics and 6 blendable matte eyeshadows, create the easiest smokey eyes ever.
The perfect monochromatic palette for those who love creating a smokey eye. The mattes in this palette blend beautifully. Grey tones are known to be a little challenging to formulate and Colourpop did an outstanding job here.
The Child
This monochromatic olive green palette features a range of finishes from matte, metallic, and our iconic Super Shock formula. Create the cutest looks in the galaxy with the fun olives, golds, and neutral tones.
I knew I needed “The Child” palette because I am a huge baby Yoda fan! Also, the olive-toned shades in this palette looked unique. The palette includes 9 eyeshadows: 5 mattes, 3 metallics and 1 super shock formula. If you’re in the market for a palette with a mix of more wearable greens and some neutrals, then definitely give this palette a go.
That’s Taupe
Cool-toned and ready! Full of cool, neutral taupe shadows in matte and metallic finishes to create the most flattering looks from smokey to everyday glam.
The palette I never knew I needed. I’m not huge on cool tones but love experimenting and these 9 pan palettes are ideal when you wanna dwelve into unfamiliar territories.
That’s Taupe is the perfect true cool neutral eyeshadow palette and doesn’t slip into the grayscale territory. There are a few shades that lean more pinkish/blush which I quite like this.
Wine Only
Rich burgundy and deep reds, this palette is a love letter to our favourite shade of wine. Make a statement or add a wash of colour, this richly pigmented palette will be a staple in your collection.
This gorgeous palette features rich burgundies and deep reds. A combination of matte, mattes with sparkles, metallic and sheen metallic finishes.
I enjoyed the mattes more than the metallics. Some of the metallics give more of a sheen effect than a shimmery one. I know many still enjoy this type of finish but I prefer a more foiled metallic.
Final Thoughts
I’ve sold the Shayla X Colourpop ”Proceed with caution” palette, I just wasn’t reaching for it enough. That brings my total to thirteen 9 pan Colourpop palettes.
How many of these small palettes do you own? And which is your favourite? I’m currently enjoying the “That’s Taupe” and “The Child ” palettes.
I plan on sharing some of the 12 pan palettes that I’ve added to my collection since my last post, so stay tuned for that. Also, let me know if you would like me to share palettes that are perfect for the autumn season?
