Liquid Lipstick Series: OFRA Cosmetics
Many lipstick addicts like me will agree that liquid lipstick is where it’s at at the moment. Nearly every brand I know has matte liquid lipsticks in their collection.
The aim behind this series is to share my experience with the liquid lipsticks in my collection. I usually wait for reviews before making the purchase and there are a few bloggers and YouTubers whose opinion I trust, so I always turn to them for their reviews.
OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks
Description
Everybody gets a lippie. These matte liquid lipsticks are a long-lasting colour that perfectly outlines and fills in lips, turning your pout into kissable velvet. Stunning pigments stay put all day with minimal transfer while maintaining a comfortable wear. Infused with Vitamin A and antioxidants, lips look and feel healthy all day.
Packaging
I have 3 lippies from the older packaging and 1 in the newer most recent packaging.
The older lipsticks come in a transparent plastic tube with a black cap. It has a pretty standard doe foot applicator that’s easy to use. There was some writing on the tube but as you can tell, it has faded and nearly all off. I don’t hate this packaging but also not a total fan as I felt it was pretty basic.
Ofra has recently refreshed its logo and redesigned its website, packaging, and overall image and I’m here for it. The tube of the actual lipstick is a little shorter and has a square-like shape. The cap is white and it has their new chic design on the top of the lid.
The Formula
I’ve been curious about this brand for a while and eventually decided to take the plunge. Since I’m a lipstick lover I decided to purchase 2 and test them out. Once I tried them, I must admit – the crazy hype around the company’s long-lasting lipsticks was fully justified.
The lipsticks have a creamy mousse-like consistency. What I love about this formula is that it dries to a beautiful comfortable matte finish. It’s not a formula that will accentuate every single line on the lips. Just remember that every matte lipstick will cling onto dry flakey bits, so prep your lips well.
The pigment of these lipsticks is amazing and they are true to the colour on the outer packaging. They also have a lovely vanilla scent.
The lipsticks aren’t completely transfer-proof but rather transfer resistant. They stay for up to 5-6 hours without eating, fade gradually and are easy to touch up because of the mousse-like formula.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I love the Ofra Liquid Lipsticks and the shade range they offer. I already have a few other shades on my lust list.
I’m also so chuffed that they changed up their packaging and still kept their amazing formula. It just adds to the whole look and feel of the brand and let’s be serious, who doesn’t like to look at beautiful packaging?
I know many of you love this brand. Their highlighters are also some of my absolute favourites. For those of you who aren’t aware, there’s an OFRA SA online store where these products are easily accessible. Visit their online store at OFRA Cosmetics SA
Let me know in the comments section which shades are some of your favourites?
